Privacy Policy

Sporty Sports is made by Blum & Co., LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what the app collects, why, and what we never do. We wrote it in plain words on purpose.
What we collect
- An anonymous ID. The first time you open the app, it gets a random ID from our backend (Supabase). It is not your name or email. It keeps your settings and limits working.
- Your city, if you type one. It is optional. We use it to lean the lines toward teams near you. We never ask for your live location.
- Your starred teams and notification choices. We use them to send you the right pushes and to put your teams first.
- Your phone's time zone and push token. We use them to send notifications at the right local time, and never at night.
- What you type in Game Plan and onboarding. A few words about who you are about to talk to. We send them to an AI service (Anthropic) to find the team and who the person is to you, such as "your boss". We keep only the team and that short description. We do not store the words you typed.
- Your subscription. Purchases go through Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. They receive your anonymous ID and purchase details, not your name or card number.
- Sign in with Apple (optional). If you use it to sync saved lines, we receive Apple's private ID for you. We do not ask for your name or email.
- Saved lines. They stay on your phone. If you sign in with Apple, they are also stored on our backend so they follow you to a new phone.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not read your contacts, photos or messages.
Who helps us run the app
- Apple for purchases, notifications and Sign in with Apple.
- Supabase for our database and backend.
- RevenueCat for subscriptions.
- Anthropic for the AI that writes headlines from verified facts and reads what you type in Game Plan. Their handling of that text is covered by their privacy policy.
These companies may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Notifications
We only send notifications if you allow them. You can turn each kind off in Settings inside the app, or all of them in your iPhone settings. We send at most one a day and none between 9 pm and 7 am your time.
Keeping and deleting your information
You can delete your information yourself, any time: open Settings in the app and tap Delete my data. That removes your saved lines, starred teams, settings, push token and anonymous ID from our servers, and ends your Sign in with Apple link with us. Your subscription is managed by Apple and is not affected, so you can still restore it.
If you cannot use the app, email support@sportysports.co and we will do it for you.
Children
Sporty Sports is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for big changes, tell you in the app.
