Do I need to know anything about sports?

No. That is the whole idea. Sporty Sports is for people who do not watch sports but talk with people who do: at work, with clients, with a partner's family, at the bar.

Where do the headlines come from?

We write them from verified facts and check every name and number before you see it. Each story links to its source. If we get one wrong, tap the three dots on the card and choose Report a mistake.

Is it free?

The top headlines, the headline widget and share cards are free. Sporty Sports Pro is $29.99 a year and unlocks Hail Mary, Game Plan, your teams, Big Game Mode and saved lines.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use the whole app without one. Sign in with Apple is optional, and only syncs your saved lines to a new phone.

What do you do with what I type?

In Game Plan you describe who you are about to talk to. We use it to find the team and who the person is to you, and we do not keep what you typed. You can delete everything we have from Settings, any time. See our Privacy Policy.

Is Sporty Sports affiliated with any league or team?

No. Team and league names are used only to describe real events. We do not use any league or team logos.
